Spring at Spectro: New shifts, seasonal positions and more

Spring is around the corner, and we are looking forward to warmer months at the plant. Traditionally, this time of year is when many people first get their start at Spectro through seasonal jobs. Many of us have spent our summers staying active by stacking ingot and sorting scrap. This year, we’re once again looking for seasonal help to join our team and are now offering new part-time shifts.

Spectro is a great place for anyone looking for a physical job in an outdoor environment. We hope that a new influx of seasonal and part-time employees will balance current workloads and reduce the overtime hours of our hardworking staff, allowing you to enjoy these summer months! Please continue to refer friends and family to Spectro to take advantage of our referral incentive. Click here to view open positions.

We’re also looking forward to opening our new distribution center this summer. It’s taking shape before our eyes as construction ramps up. Check out this March progress photo:

Lastly, a reminder that April 22 is Earth Day! In our day-to-day work, it’s easy to overlook the important contributions you’re making to our environment by playing a role in aluminum recycling – the greatest recycling success story. Our operations have recycled more than 5 billion pounds of aluminum. The energy saved through recycling at Spectro is enough to power every home in Rosemount for 675 years! We hope you take pride in this work and the positive impact you’re making.
